All sports lessons are supervised either by our energetic blue shirt residential staff or by specialised sports coaches.
Class SizesWe offer small, friendly and informal classroom environments, best suited to maximising each student's potential. Class sizes range between 8 and 16 students. Class sizes during the high season (January, April and June to August) range between 14 and 16 students.
Excursion DestinationsOldfeld International School organises excursions to all the UK's top destinations including: London, Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge, Southampton, Winchester, Longleat, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Windsor Castle and more.
Placement Test and Pre-testsAll students take a placement test on the first day of their course. The exact level of each student can then be determined and the student is placed in a class which is best suited to his/her ability. Weekly teachers' meetings enable us to monitor the progress of each student and to decide whether a change of level is necessary.
Students who wish to enrol on an Intensive English Examination Course are required to take an English language pre-test to ascertain their level of English prior to arrival. The pre-test can be requested from our Head Office.
WelfareOldfeld International School is committed to, and prides itself on, the high level of welfare we offer, an area where our inspections demonstrate we both exceed expectations and which has long been one of our core strengths.
Our experienced staff oversee all the welfare needs of our students. All students have insurance cover included in their fees, have access to an a registered on-site matron and access to the local hospital, doctor’s surgery, dentist and any other health and welfare facilities they may need during their stay in England.
Our dedicated residential staff take care of all our students’ day to day needs. For students needing further assistance, our welfare and first aid trained staff are on hand to ensure their stay is as comfortable as possible.
